Benjamin Rhodes
Head of School
Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Benjamin Rhodes and his family recently relocated from New Orleans, LA, to Cape Girardeau, MO. Rhodes earned his B.A. in Youth Ministry with a minor in Music from Charleston Southern University in 2010, an M.A. in Worship Studies Leadership from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary in 2012, and another M.A. in Music and Worship from Liberty University in 2015. In 2021 he earned the Master of Theology in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently a writing candidate for the Ph.D. in Christian Education at NOBTS.
Rhodes was ordained into Full-Time Gospel Ministry in 2011 and has served in various pastoral roles ever since. His first position in education came in 2015 when he became Headmaster of North Myrtle Beach Christian School in Longs, SC. A few years later, he and his family moved to New Orleans, LA, where he served as the Director of the Center for Technology in Learning at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary while in residency for his Ph.D. Today, he serves as the Head of Lynwood Christian Academy and on the Pastoral Staff of Lynwood Baptist Church.
Rhodes' favorite verse comes from Philippians 2:15, "be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world..."
Ben and his wife Brittany have four children, Jacob, Naomi, Elizabeth, and Leia. He enjoys spending time with his family, drinking coffee, dry-aging beef, adopting new technology, and watching Clemson Football. Go Tigers!
