Terry Maire

Terry Maire has enjoyed teaching 3rd-8th graders in a Christian environment for the past 31 years. Before moving to Cape Girardeau, she taught at a Christian School in Urbana, Il. for 4 years. She has been with this school for 27 years. Her educational background includes a BS in Speech/Communication with a 6th-12th teaching certificate from Eastern Illinois University. She has also been ACSI certified for more than 20 years. Mrs. Maire has been the 5th - 8th history, science, and homeroom Bible teacher for a number of years. Two of her favorite responsibilities at the school are to direct the annual Speech and Word competition and directing the junior high play. She has been a member of Bethel Assembly of God for 27 years. Mrs. Maire has been married for 40 years and is the mother of 2 grown children. Her new love is her 2 yr. old grandson and 5 mos. old granddaughter. She enjoys swimming and visiting with friends. Mrs. Maire’s favorite Bible passage is Psalm 139 because it reminds us of how much God cares about every part of our lives. She is excited to see what God is going to do in the coming years with the students.
